I'm Alexis — a 9x certified permanent makeup artist and the creator of Modern Cosmetics. I was a professional makeup artist for over a decade, and I've been tattooing for the last 5 years. My specialty is creating results that feel timeless, natural, and just you.

My Background & Story

My career in professional makeup artistry began over a decade ago with Bridal and Special Event looks — where I honed my foundational skills in skin prep, color theory, hygiene, and client care.

I completed my cosmetic tattoo apprenticeship at the Academy of Intradermal Cosmetics in Louisville, KY. have trained with several of the industry's most respected leaders, including Danny Tran with PhiBrows, Shay Danielle Academy, Tina Davies Studio, and Girlz Ink.
